Not necessarily crash. At the present time most astrophysicists think the universe will continue expanding but it could collapse and reverse and we could have a big crunch.

The universe is currently expanding into nothing, and always has done since the Big Bang. If it starts contracting, it will be back into it's own time-space "bubble"

This eclips last night. It looked great and was a shock because it hadn't been advertised.
A friend who I was with last night and to be honest I haven't seen him for 18 months so we were drinking slightly and bit too heavily but today we met up again and discussed the eclips.
I have a question.
The eclips left a cresent shape on the moon, this is not unusual because the cresent moon happens a few times each month.
Why isn't the cresent moon that is visible each month not classed as an eclips?
