    Viva Espana

Seems like Kieran is off to Atletico Madrid, presumably the first ex-Burnley player to play for either Atletico or Real Madrid ? Off hand I can't think of any of our ex-players who has played for any Spanish club, but maybe there has been, and Kieran is not the first, does anyone know for sure ?

Gifton Noel-Williams went on to play for Real Murcia and Elche after leaving Burnley.

Not exactly Madrid, but still in Spain.

Cheers Garlick, I thought there might have been one slipped under the radar, but I wasn't expecting it to be Gifton, with his gammy knees he'd have been the last one I would have thought had gone to Spain playing on their rock hard pitches.
