This is a dream issue for a politician. One meeting and a question in Parliament gets you access to a significant audience, some of whom might not otherwise listen to you, and it's a free hit, because there's no blame heading in her direction whatever happens. Can't fault her for taking advantage.

Her constituents asked her to get involved. It's not a party political issue so give her a break. Notts needs the audience too.
