Rahm played well 2 weeks ago but he'll have to control his temper if he's going to win this week.
Supposed to be windy & rainy this week over there and he loses his rag too easy.
Rose, Koepka, Fowler, Speith & Dustin Johnson have all been in poor form recently.
The most consistent player right now is Matt Kuchar, he never seems to be outside the top 10.
Bernt Weisburger won last week (shot 10 under on Saturday) and was 2nd the week before.
Adam Scott's always there abouts, I like Cabrera Bello and if you're looking for a real outsider Eric Van Royen is worth an each way punt.

Am guin fo Henrick Stenson 25/1 each way (top 10 places) and Louis Oosthuizen 45/1 each way n orl. Both playing decent and always show up at the Open.

Love this occasion. Probably my favourite sporting event and al be glued to it.

Yes, I've had a bit on Oosthuizen. He won the Open in horrible wet & windy conditions about 10 years ago.
I don't know if any of you have Betfair accounts but their golf odds are far better than anyone else's but only if you're doing win bets.
That's Betfair Exchange not Sportsbook. (Stenson 33/1, Oosthuizen 55/1).

My picks are under the radar chaps based on a bit of research with the emphasis of them giving me value and a run for my money E/W

    1 , Xander Schauffle 20/1

Tied for the lead after 54 holes last year , 5 out of 9 top five finishes in his major career .

    2 , Patrick Cantlay 25/1

Stats ticked the box for me , playing really well this year , could challenge on sunday .

    3 , Adam Scott 30/1

Got the game to do well and he played well at Pebble Beach in the US Open , could be out on sunday in one of the final groups .

    4 , Henrik Stenson 30/1

At that price and playing as well as he is I thought it was very decent value .

    £5 E/W on the above .

Good luck everybody with your picks .

Some strange score's about today ? Mcilroy 8 ? A thir**** on one hole ? The course looks remarkabley lush , maybe slower greens than they are used to ? Early days , but can't see winning margin being more than 12 under , more rain and wind forecast , let the Best Man win , as long as it's a European !!

Rahm's looking good, and Koepka always looks dangerous but I can't warm to him.
Why do the cameras have to show every single shot of Tiger's when he's playing crap.
He looked embarrassed playing the par 5. He got up and from 100 yards for a six.
On a good day I could have been 100 yards away in 4.
Tyrell Hatton birdies the 17th to get a share of the lead and they never mentioned him all day.
