Maybe a bit of a silly prediction but this squad is miles better than last time in this league

Mmmm I'm thinking expectations are high here. I have every confidence in Warne et al and think he has been superb for RUFC, I'm a big fan of his. I also think our recruitment has been considered and well thought through, not to mention exciting.
But it is unlikely that all our new boys will work out (I would be saying that to any football club who has recruited a number of first team player) and we have undergone a radical change in playing staff.
So I don't doubt anything that we have been doing over the summer but there will be other teams with a more settled team than us and the competition is very strong this year. TS stated they have a two year plan and this sounds sensible. I think we will do well and playoffs is not an unreasonable expectation.

Just to say I am excited by what is happening at RUFC so my point is nothing to do with our capabilities etc its merely a combination of immature team development, untested players and strong competition.

Looking at most replies on here I think the hot weather there is either impacting peoples' judgement or there's been a run on the sale of rose tinted glasses at Poundstretcher. Maybe this competition should just have been about how many points we'll win the league by and what date in December our promotion will be confirmed.
