It's Pompey,s and the local Police,s fault
EFL can't be expected to know each and every event up and down the country
The Football club and Police at every club should review what's on in the area and take a decision to notify the EFL that they want an away fixture or Friday night game.
For example that same weekend it's the Ashes at Headingley
Surprise surprise Leeds are away at Stoke

EFL obviously know about it because they generally give them an away fixture due to it being on the same weekend every effing year.
Our club aren’t happy about it and told them we didn’t want it moving again but obviously we don’t matter.
Why can’t we just reverse the home/away fixture ?

The Victorious Festival at Portsmouth is an ongoing event on the calendar, they knew twelve months ago the Festival would be back at Southsea.
