    Pay as you play.

With reports that Bruce wants Austin from Southampton for £8 million I thought what about other injury prone players who have been released.

Sturridge,Welbeck and Andy Carroll when fit can tear open any defence and there free.

It might sound stupid but one or even two of these As back up to our main strike force on a low wage but getting a big bonus for every game played could work.

I doubt if any player would agree to this but it's better than spending millions on a player who is just as injury prone.

Pay as you play would suit me with some of the freebies, as long as they didn't disrupt the harmony of the dressing room.
Sometimes you have to ask yourself how dedicated they are, regardless of so called injuries.
I tend to think many injuries with certain players are their cop out mountain out of molehill injuries, in some cases.

It's down to being ultra careful who you get in and quick on the draw to discard in short order , should any of them not show willing in all areas of their efforts for the club, not just on the pitch on match day.

When players are not performing and the crowd gets on their backs, A slight injury suddenly turns into a long term one. How many other jobs could people have where you do a bad job for years and keep your job,

I'd be happy with big Andy on that basis as a second no.9. I've always found Welbeck to be massively over rated but I'd also be happy to take a punt on him as competition for one of the inside forward roles.

Pay as you play sounds good.

Like you said though, i don't think any of them would go for it.

Be interesting to see where they end up.

Andy, will end up in Championship I reckon.
