    Europa League

It looks as if it will be Crusaders at Molineux next Thursday. They are currently leading 3-2 after 70 mins, having won the first leg 2-0. Looks like being an almost sell out crowd.

Should wolves progress beyond Crusaders, they will meet either Armenian side Pyunik, or the Czech Republic side Jablonec. The away tie will be played on Thursday August 8th and the Home tie on Thursday August 15th.

I would imagine Jablonec would win the matchup with Pyunik and they did alright in the Europa League last year in the group stage. Finished last, but never lost a match by more than one goal in a group that featured Dynamo Kiev and Rennes. Pyunik is in its 20th straight season with European competition, but they've never made it to the group stage of Champions or Europa League.

Obviously we have to beat Crusaders first, but just looking ahead quickly. If we beat Crusaders, the next round's matches would be played August 8 and August 15. The first leg would be three days before our opening match of the season.

I remember the last [and only?] time we met in 1961 when they knocked us out of the Cup Winners cup. Full house at the Mol [52.000?] and 80.000 for the first leg in Glasgow. Quite a night at the Mol and in town but no serious problems. just 10.000 drunken Jocks.
