Thread: So how long does Steve Bruce get ?

So how long does Steve Bruce get ?

Does he get the benefit of a full season even if it looks like we will get relegated say after 25 games and we are bottom
    Does he get 2 seasons
A very poor run of first 20 games and limited points does he get the sack and we look to bring in a new man

That situation would provide a huge quandry for the fat slug. Either way would prove that, as we all know, that is most of us, that Ashley is a very poor decision maker.

As much as I like Rafa he didn't get a win last season until November a 1-0 win against Watford,we were still relegation candidates well into 2019.

If Bruce gets as bad a start as Rafa he will be gone before Xmas.

Basically this. Ashley only just managed to get our 11th choice manager over the line and will no doubt have to pay Sheff Wed a few £mil compo (and rightly so) so there's no chance he's getting rid of him even if we go down. He's equal with Warnock in promotions from the Chimpo and fatso will be banking on him getting us back up.

No point in getting rid of Bruce. He has championship experience and he has time to prepare us for it, I think going into next season (20/21) he ironically will be the perfect man to safe us from the double drop.

    isn't Bruce a geordie?
    i could be wrong here

if you are not investing in the current Team he`s About as good as you get, not his fault really, might even surprise some, if only a survival feat.
    take care now

Steve Bruce should get enough time to put his stamp on the squad and get that squad playing to his tune.
