If you watch him specifically for a while you will notice he often looks like he forgets he's a footballer and then suddenly remembers and springs back into life, trying to use his pace to recover from his own mistake or lack of positional sense.
People say he's good going forward but in reality, he's just fast and can over lap quite well, there's nothing special about his crossing, sometimes he gets it into the box, sometimes it goes in the stand, standard League 2... He's not skillful so won't take anyone on unless it's a race and the only goal you're likely to see from him in open play is the one on your clubs twitter account he scored in training.
I actually don't think he's as bad as some Notts fans make out, he's fairly average on his day but he can be absolutely horrific on an off day, watch these highlights for his debut -
