Just had a look at one of the West Brom forums. They were expecting to pay £3-4 million for him.

I think what everyone has missed is the great way our back room staff have developed Ajayi.

He came to us as a raw talent. At times he showed the attributes of a new born fawn but boy did he mature into a great stag!

In the sale and being realistic everyone is a winner. Let’s stop being silly saying we could have asked and got 5 mill for him.
