Perhaps the young player that was introduced to the central defence will get a chance to start next Saturday.

Certainly was v Motherwell. Deep defending and zero action in Well half. Should have taken binoculars.

In all fairness to GN maybe Murray was not ready to play week in week out last season.

Every young player has a season in and around the first team prior to their breakthrough season. This should be Murray’s breakthrough season, where he plays every game ..... form and fitness permitting.

I thought he should of had more game time before now Mug. GN just didn’t trust the youngsters for whatever reason. How refreshing to see AJ already giving two local youngsters their Queens debuts. Trust me , what a confidence boost that’s gave them already.......

There is no fairness to Naysmith. He never trusted any youth. Look how many young local lads he ditched ?!?

Conor was breaking into the team a couple of seasons ago. He just got held back under Naysmith - and look at him now under a decent manager. The only downside was we never managed to sign him for two years. Could be his year this

He trusted Callum Semple at 19 years old.

But that in itself should have shown him that young players can be trusted.

Funny enough.... when we did have the youngsters on the bench last season many complained the bench was not strong enough.

He made a lot of changes to strengthen the bench in January and it went tits up.

If a youngster is good enough then get them involved.
