I watched the interview after the West Ham game, the reporter asked him if the players responded to the arrival of Bruce after having lost Rafa,he said Rafa was a great manager but Bruce explained things more.

In these situations it is better to bite your tongue until you have more time to think of a response.

The players frozen out will likely get a new beginning and it's up to them to buy into the new manager and his set up.
I would imagine some players will be so happy about Rafa's departure and some likely won't be. But, like always and at every club, we move on.

Any player who didn’t get on well with Rafa will have their say now.

If I was Shelvey I’d be looking to myself rather than blame a manager of his quality not picking him, and try to learn how to track back more and stop giving goals away as a result.

The players need to be careful...the atmosphere won't be very far from being toxic and that's only going to impact on performances...and coming out with stuff like this is only going to erode fans' patience further.

Shelvey doesn't know what Shelvey is thinking.

Shelvey is a one trick pony one in six of his long passes come off

He comes to the edge of our own box and takes the ball off our defenders. Doesn’t score many goals and can’t tackle.

Other than that he’s brilliant in his mind anyway
