    Vassell to follow Towell?

There are rumours doing the rounds that Vassell is on his way to Salford.

We heard earlier in the summer that Towell had agreed a deal of £8k per week to sign for Salford and now it's rumoured that Vassells' head has been turned and he is about to sign for them as well.

Salford are already pssing fans off with the amount of money they are splashing about on this project and whether or not the income they recieve will cover the Fair Play rules set out by the EFL.
The owners who are all ex Machester United stars are reported to have been funded by an overseas millionair seem to lack any interest of playing by the rules!

Towell was out of contract (?), Vassell under contract until June 2021 according to the "sticky" at the top of this site... so we are expecting a big fee? (Salford can afford it )

    good player.

    shows Warne can spot them.

if there gonna offer 8 to 10k a week of course he is gonna go and who can blame him.

got to be near a million current international striker with a couple of years left.

or will they give him away as he doesn't fit into the mantra of if you dont want to play for the club you can go.

Warne can spot them? Well maybe

    But can Warne keep them?

That might be an issue going forward

Obviously unlike those "in the know" haven't a clue about behind the scenes but I was hoping Vassel would have been good for us in LG1
Looked sharp last game of season and apparantley done well in the pre season games but I'll leave the running of the club to those that are paid to do it and hope that they know best.

That's really all we can do to be fair. They see them week in week out in training. The management team know by now which are the formats we are going to play this season and know who else is required and where they are required. The club also know how much we can afford and how much we are going to pay out. We all have ideas and thoughts on who we should buy and how we should play, but at the end of the day very few of us know how clubs operate. Although, you would think that quite a few on here know exactly that UTM

****ing Salford! Novelty club with no fans, following the likes of Crawley and Fleetwood in an attempt to buy their way up the leagues.
If they want Vassell, make them pay over the odds. They've got the money and aren't shy of flaunting it.
