Bin Zayed Group now set to buy Newcastle United on the never never?

Here's a link to yet another rumour?

No takeover as most of us knew.

    Blah blah.

I guess those non-disclosure agreements are the reason why we haven't heard anything...which points to the bid failing. i was going to say 'why they have to borrow the money is beyond me' ...but it's not really beyond me as i know nothing about how much money they have in the first place.

And there it is.The next installment of lies from the Keith Bishop Agency to make everyone believe another failed takeover attempt isn't Ashley's fault.
Well sorry Keith but we have memories. After the Stavely attempt fat Mike said unless proof of funds were shown at the beginning he wouldn't sit down and discuss any proposed takeover.
This has come out in my opinion of course, because they had the money and it scared Mike a bit because he ISNT A WILLING SELLER!!!!!!!
Make it out to be the proposed buyers fault.

And as the Chronic points out, the Bin Zayed Group tried to get a Swiss hedge fund involved when they were trying to buy Liverpool in a bid that failed to get off the ground...

Again, if it happens it happens. Up until it does I have little faith that it actually will, and these rumours will remain completely and utterly untrustworthy.

No point in getting one's hopes up. I think we are stuck with Ashley, Charnley and Bruce for the foreseeable future.
