    Next up - Dumbarton

Motherwell travel down the Clyde on Tuesday for the third match in Group E of the Betfred Cup. League One side Dumbarton have won one and lost two in this season's competition and no doubt they hope for a midweek upset. - External Link

Dumbarton seem like an absolute shambles at the minute and while the usual caution of treating them seriously applies, we should be winning this comfortably while indulging in some rotation.

We'll beat this mob...no problem. We won't lose a game in this part of the competition as I mentioned in am earlier post. We're far too good for any of these teams. As for rotation, just get the best side on the park and show them we mean business.

I'm pretty sure I've logged into FPC in a parallel Universe! Far too much early doors positivity!! Next thing you know LSM will be touting an away win at Dumbarton with a scoreline of 0-4 or something ...
