is Paddy Power, so say the betting company in a brief video retweeted by MFC. Scroll down for statement here: https://saveourshirt.co.uk/

So we have the largest shirt deal in our history and the benefit of playing without a hideous logo...unreal. The home top still doesn't do much for me (though if, somehow, we could win something in it this would change :-) but the away one is cracking unsullied.

You wonder what's in it for Paddy Power beyond a one-off publicity shot mind...no doubt they will extract a price silly social media activity and you wonder just what being "our official gaming partner for the 2019/20 season" will bring.

Still, hats to the commercial team, they seem to have earned a pint on this one.

Great to see that we will enjoy strips unsullied by unsightly advertising - long may the trend continue. But money talks, enjoy it while you can..

    Motherwell blank shirt sponsors.

Not a fan of the company, but hard to turn down the money I suppose, and the sponsor-free shirt is a nice bonus.

I guess the question now is just how many crappy Paddy Power ads we'll see around Fir Park instead to compensate...

No such thing as a free lunch etc.

The number (and type) of companies willing to invest cash in football is limited. I don't love the idea of a betting company being our main sponsor but living in the real world you just need to get on with it...

There will no doubt be branding around the ground but given how PP operate I imagine all kinds of online viral marketing might be more their thing.

So the shirt is still up for grabs?

Why don't we, with Patrick Powers permission, give it over to a charity? Hearts did it with UNESCO a few years ago.
