OT you never really know how much you cared.......

    .... until it's too late.

Lost my faithful dog Amy last Sunday just 7 weeks shy of her 14th birthday. During the day it has been just me and her for the past 5 and a half years since I took early retirement. All I could see yesterday were places where she wasn't, in and around the house. Bloody depressing I can tell you. Today I decided to go for a wander and ended up in a park she hadn't been in for about 2 years since she decided that 45 minute walks were no longer appropriate for a lady of her age. I swear I saw her running through the gate and up onto the mound to stand there proudly pronouncing that she was the Queen of the Castle........

RIP sweet Amy. The best beer guard anybody ever had.

Tough times MA, as rA says 'hang on in there'.
We've had boxers for many years (we're on our 4th) and we still think of and love the ones we've lost. They have left us with such happy memories and as such, are still with us!! Amy will do the same for you and your family.
    RIP Amy.

Ta GP. Amy was indeed a mongrel and one of a kind, literally. Her Mam was 10 months old when Amy was born. There had been no signs of a pregnancy until one morning she started to act strangely and an hour or 2 later, out popped Amy and only Amy, she was the entire litter, father unknown. Mam was sterilised immediately therefter so she really was one of a kind in more ways than one.

Not exactly soul but country and countries have a North so you got that bit right
