The players are not the problem. Especially the ones being played out of position in a format that doesn't suit them.

The real problem is the manager who cant coach them into becoming a TEAM.

Weegiearab said it, JJaflup said it, I've said it many times, we've being saying it for a long time. He cant coach. He cant coach us to pass. We have a problem. It's not the players. Collectively they are good enough.

Setting aside the results and looking at team performance we have been eye bleeding to watch for a long time. We were terrible to watch towards the end of last season. We actually could have won the league imo although some will disagree with that. We were shocking in both games v St Mirren. We were shocking against Hearts, and the result glossed over the performance for many on here.

People said ah but he needs new players. He needs a pre season. What is clear is that we have some new players yet nothing has changed in regard to performance.

The Ogrens have invested a lot of money (and public faith in RN) - they have a right to expect a return and there are no signs at all that RN is able to coach 11 players into a good team.

As said before, don't shoot the messenger because I like Robbie and f uck knows we're all desperate for him to do well. The thought of another change is depressing, almost unthinkable but I'm not so sure the Ogrens will see it that way.

I'm swiftly coming around to your opinion Stoke.

Ogren has really backed Neilson well. He's been able to bring in new players, had a full summer and pre-season to get things sorted, yet it sounds like nothing has changed.

Unless something significant changes overnight, Neilson has failed.

Seriously, we would be much better off with a Jim Duffy type. A guy that is able to coach his teams in the basics and also motivate them.

Given our failures last year, you've got to question whether Neilson has actually got what it takes to be a head coach. It's looking like HE is the problem now.

Neilson's coat on a very shoogly peg now. If I was Ogren, last night's result would be cause enough for me.

Here we go again. A fairly uninspiring league cup campaign ends with the manager being under pressure before we've even stated in the league.

    Groundhog Day. ☹️

If you choose to ignore the facts and reality that's up to you. I just post my opinion. I love the club just as much as you but it doesn't stop me from facing up to reality when I want success for it.

Uninspiring! What? You're having a laugh surely.
Aye sure, getting beat 2-0 at home from East Fife and not being able to string 2 passes together for months is right uninspiring isn't it.

Think I've made that crystal clear in the Hearts thread and this one tbh.

Terry you made a comment in the Stennie thread about what did happen and what might happen, well what might happen came home to roost last night. If that doesnt give you even a tinge of doubt, then i really want some of what you are on, or tips on how to have a brighter outlook!

You said I hadn't been critical and always looked at the positive. We know for a fact that is utterly wrong (I'm sure you even admitted it at one point), have you read my posts about last night?
