    Hopes for next season

For those hoping for a more entertaining style of play in the coming season, there was an ominous ring to this excerpt from the LET report on the Fleetwood game,

"It was Fleetwood who continued to play the more flowing football".

The gloom mongers are off. We won a friendly, the point of which, was to get some game time into legs. FFS.

Bloody hell BT, 'game time', you're showing your age there, no one says game time anymore, it's 'minutes' now. Get up to date man.

My hope is that we will stay up. Nightmare start to last season, we will be better than that, I'm thinking 10th to 14th, preferably clear of relegation by April 12, 2020 after beating Sheffield. For me, it's curtains for Brighton, Sheffield and if Zaha leaves - Palace. Surprise packet will be Southampton with Ings and Adams netting a few 3 points results where many might think 1 or 0 is all they are capable of.

A top half finish and to win the FA Cup.

That would mean that we are back in the Europa Cup again though. This time we would be more prepared for it.

i'm still hoping that we sign a ball winning and creative midfielder...if not then let's hope that Defour and Brady start firing to their capabilities.

Bloody hell, forget Europe 1959-60. We've just let a 2-0 lead go to waste at Wigan. We are phucked I tell thee, phucked!
