Agree with slack here, why on earth is no one chasing a story from the Danes, they could rule themselves out once and for all.
The problem is, we have zero information to go on. We still don't know for a fact that the Danes have pulled out, or that they were ever interested in the first place for that matter. Why isn't anyone (local media) able to find this stuff out?
Is anyone currently trying to buy the club?
Because if not, we really need someone to put us into admin and fast, because Hardy clearly isn't going to.
I know his word means nothing, but why would he bother to contact that bizarre news website and release yet another statement saying there's been a delay but everything's going to be fine? It's either one of two things:
a) To deliberately wind up the fans because he's bitter about the fact he wasted his money on the club, or b) to string everyone along as long as possible to make admin impossible. I think we can no longer assume there was any veracity to that statement.
He's unbelievable.

Exactly. Even a 'they refused to comment' means something, because if they really weren't interested in buying the club, they'd have said so. If someone printed your face on the front page of a newspaper for something that was totally untrue, you'd surely come out and challenge it.
So where are they? What are they doing? And why the hell aren't the journalists able to find out?
Honestly, us fans have been let down monumentally over the last six months. By our idiotic dickhead of an owner, by a bunch of overpaid ****ers that call themselves professional footballers (not the current bunch), and by the local media, who have only added to the sense of confusion.
Let's see what the Evening Post regurgitates for us today.

If there’s a web chat with Leigh Curtis this afternoon, I suggest we all direct our questions about the Danes to him. Has he contacted them and what have they said. And if they refuse to speak, why. Be of far more use than yet another interview with Smurf.
If we takes the Danes out of the equation, we know there is no serious buyer and it will be liquidation or administration on Wednesday. (I’m not even going to consider the fraudsters’ bid as serious, given that they don’t have any funds and the council won’t work with them.)
Again, it begs the question of what proof was furnished to the High Court to convince them a deal was only three weeks away - and that after Notts had only asked for two weeks.
This void is also being filled with nonsense. We don’t know that Hardy has put his house on the market or that he’s sold the golf club, so let’s try to stick with what we do know.
This - it's very odd.
On Monday, Hardy basically told any media who would listen that a deal with the Danes was done. They or their representatives (their lawyer is literally in that picture of them at the ground!) should've been immediately contacted to comment one way or the other. Even if there was no response, that's news in itself at the minute.
All it would take to calm everyone down is a boring statement from them saying that it's a complicated deal but negotiations continue and they hope to get it over the line soon. But equally, if what Hardy's been saying isn't true, it makes no sense for them to continue allowing their name to be dragged into this.
None of it really adds up.
No idea whether it means anything whatsoever, but AH has removed 'Chairman and Owner of Notts County FC' from his LinkedIn bio.
It now shows as a previous position ending this month, whereas if considered 'current' it would show as 'Jan 2017 - Present'
