Might as Well Have a Matchthread v Liecester

It would have been nice to see the full Liecester team come to Rotherham for this friendly but alas it has on the scattering of their stars! Some of them we have seen play against us in the Championship with great effect.

Never mind it will still be a test.

Enjoy the game guys and gals!

Welcome Millersmadsters around the world to a drizzly Masbro'. Nobody here seems to have definitely spotted the lad from Shamrock Rovers yet - maybe he will be introduced to the fans at the ground. Hopefully, new signing Jamie Lindsay can play today. News in the 'Tiser - Lamy could be out for a while. Other injured players should have recovered for start of the league season. Mattock may not have recovered enough to play today - he didn't look 100 percent fit, even at Bradford Park Avenue . MacDonald may be fit enough to play at least part of today's game.

Rain easing off a bit now. I'm assuming that Clarke , if signed , still needs EUFA international clearance... unless we've already applied for that.

MacDonald and Mattock fit enough to start. Ladapo , Proctor , Wiles and Lindsay on bench. Jones and Lamy still out injured
