They were showing highlights of him on the BBC and it was three very good finishes. All on the floor and all tidy footwork.

He IS a good player as proved by his goalscoring.....play to his strengths which is actually his feet.....all the "donkey" ****e is because he's not Leigh Griffiths, Édouard or Sinclair ( even Morelos dare I say it) He's tall and gangly so doesn't look like a player but Crouch killed that one off.....he's young and needing coaching but let's count the goals at the end of the season....I'll say he will easy hit 20-30 this season

Fantastic news. A settled back line with overlapping fullbacks. I wonder if younger Dandy’s really appreciate the significance of having a left back that isn’t;

4. On loan and staying for about 10 minutes (option to buy this guy apparently)

To be fair, back in the glory days, we usually had big Doog or John McMaster at left back, so that covers No. 2 and No. 3 from your list... but I take your point.
