Big Sam scores the second most important AFC Euro hat-trick behind McGhee's Ujpest Dozsa triptych. Frank Munro's and Adam Rooney's hat-tricks were scored when the ties were over against KR Reykjavik and Daugava Riga respectively.

That's it for me, if Big Sam does nothing else then he's been worth the 20 grand. But I don't think that will happen, I said earlier this week that I think he'll continue to score until he heads back down south earning the club some frogbacks.

Every one of the new signings did well. Ojo is clearly an important acquisition. However, for me, Jon Gallagher was the stand out. Absolutely outstanding work ethic, clever touches, quick, ball carrier, creative and, importantly, getting into good positions in the box. He promises to be a fans favourite I think. Sign him up!

Well the auld man was there and he said it was the best performance he's seen from the Dons in years. Also the positivity on here is something I have never seen! From watching it on RedTV it seemed it was a fantastic display, all signings playing well and we actually went at them. Scared of getting carried away but got enjoy wins like that.
