    Arbroath v Queens

Well that's the Betfred Cup games over for another season as far as Queens are concerned so it is now time to concentrate on our league opener. TBH don't have a clue how this match will turn out with both clubs having scored 10 goals and Queens also conceding 10 while our opponents have 8 against.

It's Queens.... 3 v 0 or 0 v 3 or 2 v 2 or 6 v 4... god only knows? Expect both teams to score and would like to think that Queens score the most. Hopefully another defender and/or midfielder brought in.

Teams who are suspected to be floating around the bottom like this we simply have to be beating.

They'll be up for it being their first championship league game.

Yes not an easy first game but we can get a result The team needs games together and the signs at Greenock were encouraging I can't make it to Arbroath so looking forward to reading positive posts here.

It would be very useful to hit the road running for the start of the season and a win away from home will do just that. Mon the South.

Should be a competitive game with a bigger home crowd than usual to see Arbroath presented with their
league - winning trophy / flag. I see the bookies have the Red Lichties down as favourites but hopefully a
good away support can sheer us on to victory (at least 3 buses going)
PS - have a wee look at out first league visitors to Palmy - Dunfermline FC - whose game is on BBC Scotland
    tonight.

Hope Andrew is keeping well. It’s been a while since we’ve seen him.
