    The EFL seem to forget that planning the logistics of a game takes place well before the game itself. Late cancellation causes unrecoverable costs to both fans and to the club's involved.

    Yes. That's on BBC Football website, and Saturday's Gillingham v Bury game has just been called off

    It added that a decision regarding the League One fixture against Rotherham on 20 August will be taken on Thursday, and said the EFL "remains committed to working with the club to try and find a successful conclusion".

    Confidence within the Bury supporters group has waned this morning and it appears as though the owner is making unrealistic demands if the potential new owner.
    Unless there's a miraculous upturn in the situation we will have to do something else next Tuesday evening
