    FAO Sota

Hi pal. Hope all is okay at your end and the family is safe and well. This hurricane Dorian looks pretty nasty.

I see it’s going to hit Florida, the Carolinas and make it’s way up the Eastern seaboard.

The specialists are saying there may be swells of up to 7 metres on the coasts and they already recorded winds of 170mph.

Stay safe my friend and here’s to you all not being affected by Dorian. 👍👍

Eyup Brin, thanks for your concern. It looks as though we are going to be spared by this monster storm on the west coast but we have a daughter in Miami and our eldest in Jax is right in line at the moment. Jeez. worrying times.

Nice to hear from you pal. Hope the kids have taken good cover and are ok. When they arrive I bet they're extremely frightening.

Yes I’ve seen the devastation caused. It’s a wonder the death toll is as low. Nature holds back for no one.

Ironically, we’ve already booked to go there next year. I’m sure they’ll be something to donate to which I gladly will.

American dollars okay? Anyway, you've just reminded me I need some Euro's for my next jaunt...cheers. Don't want to leave the cricket though. I suppose I could go when they break for lunch.

If you're referring to Sota being on the West Coast of Florida I'm well aware of that. At the time it was announced, they didn't know it's true path and could turn so don't quite follow your point?

The Gulf coast of Florida is the only place in the east coast of the US where its possible to surf on the west coast lol

My daughter in Jax was in her local Costco the other day and saw a bloke paying for 100 generators at $450 each to be sent to the Bahamas. Nice.
