    Congratulations

On the signing of Tom Heaton ,a fantastic signing for you, which means you are pretty sure to stay up this season.. Absolutely gutted that we have sold Tom,but that's what we have to do to survive in this league.. Needs must... He's the best goalkeeper I've seen at Burnley over the last 60 years and an all round good guy who will be brilliant for you... At least from that point of view he will still Be a Claret ..lol..all the best for the new season from a gutted Claret ..

Thank you! Never understood why you had so many decent keepers? Is he better than pope?

We haven't had a decent keeper since Friedal and imo one of the reasons we have been crap ever since. Here's hoping things will change.

Burnley fans all seem sound to me. They've wished their former captain good luck and admitted he kept them up, will gain us at least 9 points this season. And one even said online "good luck in Villa's claret and blue. The original claret and blue I believe"

As a Burnley fan I'm absolutely distraught to see Tom leave, all I can say is that you've signed a star, a gem, an absolute diamond. If you can't stay up with Tom in goal and organising your back four, then you were never going to stay up anyway. With England's finest in goal, you're in for a treat, you will love him, as we all do at Burnley.
