I see Arsenal have a VAR Exemption Certificate?
It's a farce, how they could run that one back and not give a pen is just mind boggling. Same with Ash, if that wasn't a pen then he should have got a yellow for the most theatrical dive ever, but there was no pen and no yellow when it must have been one or the other.
It's not working this VAR is it, still getting wrong decisions, still endless controversy, it's the simplest game in the world made complicated by the the clowns running it, the poor saps just can't get anything right.
If you have to run a slide rule and deliberate for 5 minutes if a player was offside, then it is clearly not a "clear and obvious" mistake by the referee is it? Barnes got run over in the penalty area and no VAR?
Villa and Sheffield United have recently both had cast iron decisions not given, but then again they are not in the famous "top four bigger clubs" are they?
I thought VAR would bring us onto the right side of those errant penalty decisions? Obviously not!
All this proves to me is that the powers that be were getting it wrong before VAR, and now VAR is there for the powers that be it certainly confirms it
