If Roofe goes then we must surely sign someone as a replacement who can regularly score goals. 7m is decent money but pales to the paper talk at the start of the window of him being valued at 12m plus.

Maybe the works at the training ground were to create a football equivalent of the philosophers stone which can turn Bamford into Van Basten. If not, we may be somewhat screwed

I'm completely baffled.
As a club, we've been talking about unfinished business from last year and targeting promotion.
How we can do that by selling our best defender and top goalscorer is mystifying to say the least.
