Yes I heard that and was just coming on here to mention it. It's lazy and incompetent considering the station is run from Ayr and Dumfries so should be more up with what's happening with teams from those towns. I don't think they amended it in later reports, probably the same report replayed.

Station owners Bauer M.edia revealed the changes will be made from September 2nd with the current Dumfries breakfast and drivetime shows being replaced by national networked programmes heard across Scotland. The changes will also see the station lose any formal presence in the town although local news and sales will be retained.
