Thought he did very well yesterday, he seemed to tire towards the end but enthusiasm kept him going. Good decision by RN to keep him on just to feel how much more he has to do to get fully up to stamina, speed etc. Like the boy, has a feeling of Duncan Ferguson about him. (without the baggage I hope).

Appere was excellent and a special mention for Liam Smith who had a great game. We now need to apply ourselves in the same manner in Maryhill on Friday and keep this going.

    See yous there

During the game, when Shankland had bagged his hat-trick, i was still minded to give Appere the MotM. The work he put in was immense and i think he will be a key factor in our season and will get his share of the goals.

A player has a hat-tick and you think another should get MotM?

To get his goals, Shankland was afforded a fair amount of space and great service, something that Appere had a hand in providing. A bit more luck and experience and he takes the chances that he nearly made for himself.

If that man is Louis Appere on Saturday, yup. The boy was outstanding, direct and brave. Him and Shanks up top all season please.

Defenders don't like playing against this boy because they don't know what he's going to do. He can go inside, go outside, big, strong, good feet, seems to have a good temperament as well.
    Really promising to see.

6 months ago who would have put money on this boy being a fixture in Robbies starting 11?
    Brilliant stuff. Well done lad.
