Anyway, a VERY good week for some, poor for others. Huge congratulations to Piglet who scored a massive 17 which returns him to the top of the pile. I can’t remember a higher score in this competition, so treat yourself to another glass of whatever you’re drinking Piglet. Even Vlad would have been impressed.

There were three other scores in double figures which would have been excellent any other week but have still helped lift Pete, Alf and Southblue up the odd position or two and contributed to lifting the average score to 8.3. The missing Acido was this week’s biggest mover, down three spots to 14th.

Unfortunately Mullen only got 2, so the Dne folk have suffered accordingly. A good week to come back for Chalky and Alf, eh? Nobby went unusually AWOL this week so there is now a yawning 29 point gap between the top two and the rest of us. Time to start trying lads.

Poor week really,and no-one moved more that one place. Alf bombed with 1 point in a week where the average was only 3.8 thanks to only three correct score predictions. I was lucky enough to get two of them, and top-scored with 9.

It’s still tough at the top with Piglet and Howoldboy matching scores, and outpacing the rest of us. At the other end, the dne bunch are dropping away.

That’s three-quarters of the job done, lads, so it’s now or never!

Off the coast of Edge Island, Piglet? It looks cold but beautiful up there in the frozen North. Anyway, the correct answer was an ice-tray so no point.

Thank you all for your best wishes for Mrsgriff. She spent a night in hospital, gave us all quite a scare, but she’s fine now. I’m very relieved, I mean, I wouldn’t want to have to train a new one.

There was only one good score this week, so take a bow Altobelli who scored 11. The rest of us were also-rans, though I bombed with only 1 point, much to the chagrin of the non-entrants. Altobelli only rises one place, which hardly seems fair, but the biggest movers were Pete, down two spots, and Alf, up two.

If you’re bothered, the average was 4.5 and both of the top two failed to achieve it. Nobby’s caught up a couple of points and for the rest of us it’s as you were.

We’re running out of weeks! Time to spend all week in a locked room studying form? Perhaps not.
