    Defence & corners

First match, 3 points was the most important, but defending corners / free kicks, we still appear very nervy & edgy ( GK not helping ) somehow we need to be more dominant -the one area where Jansson was useful.
At other end, had number of corners yesterday, but made little impact, or seemed to trouble City defence - when was our last headed goal from a set-piece?.

We will concede from corners there's no doubt, just got to hope they aren't crucial game changer goals.

Definitely a clear problem. Maybe MB thinks if we dominate games opportunities for opponents will be minimal ? Also the conversion rate is not high from high balls in to the box ?
I think it will bring some problems to us throughout the season.

I think our biggest goal threat is being caught out on counter attack by quick and direct players.

Everyteam concedes from corners and its going to happen to us

Agree Joel -WBA tore us apart when they pressed us high up the pitch won the ball and countered with pace. White looks supremely confident on the ball so that should help. If we can average over 65% possession the we should keep corners conceded down but Casilla looked very vulnerable as he generally comes for the ball and doesn’t win it.
