Apparently he arrived at Moor farm via the back entrance which are his preferred means of entry
so now he's signed officially, what are the odds on a badly broken leg against Portland ending his career
that's the Derby Way
Your questions aren't usually so easy to answer rA.
1. He has 2 years left on his contract and it is therefore a transfer, meaning transfer windows come into it. Hence the wait until January. I am also expecting us to have to pay some kind of a fee to DCU.
2. Yes. Brand-spanking new and record breaking sponsorship deal with 32Red induced by the signing. It can't be mere coincidence that he will be wearing number 32..............
Erm, MA
The MLS and EFL transfer windows are both still open, so how does that preclude starting ASAP?
But I guess he will be tired by 1/11 after a 30 odd game season, and will need a post season break?

Bubbles will be rubbing their hands together..
Fair play to Morris here, he's taking the pee out of FFP. Half of his costs go against the coaching budget and not playing. Sells the ground to himself and now this.. Steve Gibson will be going into meltdown over this.
Real marquee signing this.18 months with a poss extension is about right. Sponsorship to cover some of the costs.
COYR
Because he is playing for DCU for as long as they are in the playoffs, if they get there, and is thus unavailable to join DCFC until January.
Just guessing on this next bit but...... due to the window he won't be able to play for us once the MLS season has finished but might he be able to start coaching immediately (and also train with the DCFC squad) ??

MLS playoffs end 08-11-2019 with the final, but DC United could be out of it as early as mid October if DCU go out early, or 06-10 if they dont even make the playoffs
I guess the problem has more to do with the fact that he will play for DCU after the respective windows have closed, and so cannot play for another club until the next one reopens, as opposed to when the MLS season ends
