MLS playoffs end 08-11-2019 with the final, but DC United could be out of it as early as mid October if DCU go out early, or 06-10 if they dont even make the playoffs

I guess the problem has more to do with the fact that he will play for DCU after the respective windows have closed, and so cannot play for another club until the next one reopens, as opposed to when the MLS season ends

... Unless DCU scrap his contract making him a free agent but that would cost them the transfer fee.

Its not all about his playing ability but the profile of Derby has gone through the roof with this one

I think the appointment of Frank lampard taught Mel Morris a massive amount about selling the club to players and sponsors and tv alike

With respect to some of the managers we have had before they didn't have that same pull as Lampard & Cocu
