That line up screams a tonking
2 key injuries and Cunningham not ready means a right scratch line up.

Surley Lenihan & Nyambe have injuries? This just makes no sense to be playing with Bennett? I can understand the new LB playing today. He isn't fit yet. I'm glad Williams is back. Good luck to Tosin on his debut

I thought Lenihan looked a complete different player last week? Maybe he was carrying a knock going into that game? Or picked up something last game, but I didn't see anything. Can't understand how Nyambe got injured

We didn't play badly. Tosin is the two defenders we needed.
    We just need a goalscorer

    Well done seventwo
Even though I am sure it's a bittersweet victory.

Yes indeed Robin. We should have got something out of both games.
I really liked Williams with Tosin, very promising.
We have spent a fortune on strikers who can't score goals!

The issue is spending the potential 10-12 million on 2 potentially great forwards rather than the proven 3 defenders and a keeper we desperately needed.
I could of been great at rugby
    Dack could be premiership class
Brereton and Gallagher could be brilliant
Could be's dont necessarily mean it's going to happen.
The money has been spent recklessly and could provide mowbray with the bullet.

It's frustrating at this point Robin. Results dictate mood. And right now, it's a case of just move on. I've been critical, however in the long term over a season, I do feel we have enough with Lenihan, Williams, Tosin and the 2 young lads. How many CH's do we need?? This Cunningham could give us much more stability from LB. And quite a few a finding their feet at a new club. I think we are out of form slightly. And that can change at any point. And it will. I feel we have to just stick with the likes of SG up front as he has to figure out a way of being effective in this system. And form a partnership with Dack. I do think mistakes are being made, equally Nyambe had concusion. Or he'd have played. And Tosin needs time, as poor as Lenihan was last week, of course we miss him. And Williams hasn't played pre-season.
Fulham away is possibly going to be one of the toughest away games for us, at any point of the season. While I'm not happy, I'm not overly surprised of today's result. Fantastic goal from Cairney. He is one of, if not the best player at this level. A class above.
But nothing to base the season on, improvement is needed.
Get a few of these new lads in the side & settle, hopefully it will click at the other end. And midfield. Which I feel is still our Achilles heel. Not so much the defence.

Just finished watching. What a bummer! Until Cairney scored that amazing goal, I had begun to think we were going to win.
This was a massive improvement, except for the final 20 metres.
Bizarre, really. With Lenihan and Nyambe injured (how the hell did RN get concussion?), I feared the worst, but the defence looked fine. As TM said, what we lacked was the cutting edge. That is very strange, given the number of talented attackers we now have.
I feel much more encouraged than after last Saturday, though. Fulham really do have a very strong line-up.

Nyambe got concusion in s behind closed doors game we played vrs Man Utd (who had a v strong side out) last Mon. So he wasn't allowed to play today. And Lenihan got an injury on his knee in training. TM unable to confirm if it's serious or not. But he has water on the knee so will see if it swells or not.
I only found out about these after todays game though.

I'll need to see more games to see if something really is wrong. But I do feel it will take a little while for a few new players to settle. And I just have this over-riding feeling that we really lack any real creativity in midfield. And I'm still unsure if it's covering the defence enough. Rothwell taken off injured today aswell.
