They have had to leave recruitment late due to having no manager and he’s not had the offers he’d have anticipated.
Calling him Judas is a bit far. I didn’t rate him too much anyway so was pleased he’d turned down a contract. But I didn’t expect him to stay unemployed because he used to play for us.
That’s 3 ex wingers that are going to have great games against us this season.

He was offered a contract and refused just like the other 3. Seemed to play well when the cameras were there and you know how many times that was. Good luck to the lad and all the other 3, hope they do well but not against us.

I think he felt unloved last season.
Others were entering into extended contract talks before Xmas and he went public by saying he wanted to stay as well in other words when are RUFC going to start talking to me.
Discussion s didn't seem to start until towards the end of the season probably when PW knew we'd be a L1 team.
He may have felt like he was someway down the wanted list and decided to leave with his pride intact.
He took a chance in the summer and it probably didn't work out as he hoped. Even further from his lpool home but at least he's got a job now.
