    Long throw

Has the long throw gone out the window this season? This as always been a very useful part of our armoury, every successful Millers side over the last 20 or so years has had a long throw specialist yet wasn’t a single one today.

Olusunde took majority of them none went further than 5 yards and at least half were what I’d consider a foul throw.

The lack of it makes our already goal shy attack more impotent!

I doubt anyone in the squad has a long throw in them.
Corners and free-kicks into the box are also awful, something to work on.....with or without viagra.

Looking at today’s performance I was wondering if the squad got any real value out of their Germany trip. The Lincoln players looked sharper, quicker and fitter.

Simple ball control was lacking, there seemed to be too many square pegs in round holes and tactically we were inept.

Our habit of lacking concentration in defence is still there but now we seem to have added another layer of incompetence by having defenders not knowing who they should be marking and how to do it.

Just what do they do at Roundwood in training, more of the same fitness stuff? There’s not much evidence of much else going off.

Hopefully today was a blip and the team will gel, but serious work is needed on defensive duties.
