    Can you request that the player doesn't take a fast run up as you need to study their feet, those of us who wear glasses then this would be especially useful

    As if you hadn't understood that it's not the run up but when the non-striking foot is planted in the last stride prior to striking the ball with the other foot.

    It works.

    What happens if he has crossed toes so they point different ways on the same foot? Do you ask him to take his boot off as part of a prematch disclosure requirement?

    Must be a quiet day football wise if people can do no more than purposely misunderstand posts. Been happening a lot of late.

    But what if the player gives the goalie the feet like he does with is eyes - what then?

    MoP hopefully he will not take the next one Not sure it could be called a good save hardly had to move We will have to wait and see the next time we get one
