    Oldham away

Let's change the subject - great away win yesterday, with Chris Porter showing his worth again - look how closely his eye is on the ball in the penalty photo. Good to have Ryan Wintle back in his proper position and Olly Lancashire showing why we signed him. Only thing missing, more goals, which could have cost us at the end, but it's still early days. Hope Dan Powell isn't seriously hurt.

Yes cracking result feared the worst when we went behind so early but fought back well to take the points deservedly. Only one concern is if Powell is out for any length of time we will need to bring somebody in and it just shows we are a little thin squad size and I would like to see at least 2 in, come on Dave get some business done.

We do have cover in the wide position of a front three - Ainley looked good against Plymouth when he came on and Dale can also play there if we need pace. Not sure how we’d cover Porter’s absence unless Powell can take that role if he’s unavailable, which is bound to happen sooner or later.

Still, 3 weeks to go before the window closes and I’m sure Dave will be hanging out of it on the offchance......

Just watched the extended highlights and we looked a great side where even the Oldham Manager admitted we were a far better side both technically and physically too which is always good to see. The scoreline could have been 5-1 with some really creative football. If we can keep that up we ought to be in the top six. I wonder why some of the 500 plus fans who went won't log onto this site and give us a flavour of the full match etc?
