Wouldn't be a shock if our fowl-feathered friends were given a "bye" into Round 2. Bury's Round 1 League Cup tie doesn't have the same knock-on effects as their failure to complete league fixtures.

Hopefully for a bye they don’t get any prize money.

Although it would be great if Bury finally played and beat them,I would imagine most on here want Wednesday. So long as we do not get that pathetic excuse of a referee that we had last time it should be a great night. Poetic justice would be if Mattock took a free kick in the 93rd minute and it was met by Richard Wood who headed the ball in for the winner. Now that is a dream that I hope comes true!!!!! UTM.

Wednesday are hardly the draw for our fans that they were 20-25 years back. Down to playing them every season an doubt it will sell out.

Yes, but don't forget they'll treat it like it's their Cup Final and they'll want a massive allocation of tickets
