    Gary Neville

I think Rafa is a nice bloke but he was having you over. His football was average.

It was not because of the players he had,he played like that at Liverpool when he had money to spend.

I always thought he would be off when a big club or better offer come along.

I think he's right in some sense. The football was average. What else would you expect with that team? I like quite a few of our players for their heart and fight, but most of them are bang average.

It's also true he played the same way at Liverpool. He had better players and more money to spend, therefore resulting in entertaining football and good results.

What Neville says is true enough, but it's the wrong point he's making. Probably looking at it with his Man United-glasses on.

The bit about being off for a better offer is not true, however. On the contrary, Rafa stayed longer than most of us expected even though we - and he - knew that there would be no improvement from Ashley's side. Rafa has been loyal with us.

If Rafa was always holding out for a better offer he would have left when we got relegated again under Ashley's ownership.
Whatever things were like under Rafa I just find it amusing quite a few are saying things now when their mate Bruce is in the job, almost like they know he is sh1te and are trying to buy him a bit more time when things go wrong. The likes of ratboy Neville were all over Rafa after live games in interview but now they dont have to face him or interview him things are different.
