They might have gone back to the moon....
This is mine.
Years ago I used to work as my role in the Army for the
Communications project agency. A group of people updating cypher equipment up and down the uk on various stations.
There was 6 of us , and were fortunate not to have to wear uniform, and live in B&b's.
Now this which has always haunted me.
Me a corporal, one RSM, two Sergeants, two privates.
One day on a trip home we decided to take some junction off and find a caff.
A couple of miles later we found a pub.
Going in was brill . Buffets set out for the feeding of the 5 thousand.
It was a couple of quid ,and we got stuck in.
No one else was in or came in.
I mean a huge spread.
One month later we decided to hammer it again.
Went down the road , turned into the park.
No pub , only an old bar where a pub sign might have been hung.
100% true.
They might have gone back to the moon....
It was the Army brin not currys
you high flyer.
I remember the electric double decker busses in Sheffield City Centre that played music so that the pedestrians knew that they were coming but I seem to be the only one that does.
crashbang, that is a very odd and interesting anecdote. I have no explanation to offer.
Years ago when I first got married we were to have the reception in a pub. When we got back from the church all the food had been scoffed. Landlord swore the place must be haunted and had it demolished a week later.
I can sleep in peace now 😁😁😁
Aren't Mulder and Scully the two wingers Warne is after?
