Robinson's coat has to be on a shoogly peg after that. We are reaping the rewards of yet another disastrous summer transfer business.
Absolutely awful. That has to be one of the most pathetic cup exits we've had in years, it was a disgraceful performance from start to finish and from back to front.
The only player who got pass marks was Campbell. Gallagher might get a let-off given he'd not trained all week with a flu and a fever (according to Craigain) but essentially the other 12 who played tonight would have no complaints if they are sitting in the stand next week.
I questioned the wisdom of extending Robinson early before seeing how this year's batch worked out given last summer. There's clearly time for redemption but...jeez, we look in deep, deep bother. Gallagher is a good addition, the jury is obviously still out on Carroll and Polworth, in the right circumstances, could be okay. But Robinson's constant failing - which for all his positives he's had since summer 2017 - in not being able to sign suitable attackers is on the verge of being fatal. Of the five forwards we've signed, there's not one you'd say is good enough and that's before you ask why we've signed six all-round forwards and not a single specialised striker to begin with...
Robinson has, over the piece, clearly been good for us but there have previously been questions if it was time for a fresh start...we've obviously made our mind up and shouting for him to go any time soon will be a waste of breath. But he's got serious work to do and the bean counters need to find - at the very least - a genuine starting number nine by the end of the window or we'll be struggling to get 10th.

Abysmal performance against a very ordinary Hearts team. Berra would have an easier shift this season.
The club are now at a crossroads as to what direction we go. Spend money we might not really have on an out and out centre forward or stick with what we have and review it in the January window when on this performance tonight we could already be dead and buried in 12th place. We should nothing tonight against a very poor Hearts team who at least at midfield and forward players who were willing to make runs into space to receive the ball. We had no one looking for the ball or space Poor poor show
An abysmal performance lacking in character. Our summer recruitment may have been quick but serious questions now have to be asked about its effectiveness. It was morale sapping having to watch that toothless show last night.
The only way we were getting anything from that match last night was if we switched on the sprinklers at half time.
There may be trouble ahead ... again! Campbell taken off after 70 mins - I assume that's because he covered more ground than 7 or 8 put together! We've got nothing - NOTHING! I'm expecting the voices to grow after Hamilton beat us.
