    It’s strange that the bbc sports writers & football pundits big up Eddie Howe but he never gets a look in with the bigger clubs.

    This isn't going to end well.

    If Levy wouldn't give Pochettino the relatively small amount of money he wanted he's not going to give Mourinho the massive amount of money he'll want.

    Should have gone for Rafa Benitez.

    Plus we all have to suffer Mourinho's whining and permanent glower again.

    39 years since they had an English manager and 29 years since they had a British one. Herbert Chapman (first successful Arsenal manager and born in Kiveton Park) will be turning in his grave. Time for Eddie Howe to step up?

    Be careful what you wish for, Arsene wenger did a terrific job on a nowt budget at times.
