    Dubravka

where would we be without this guy?

He has the odd brain fart every 1 in 10 games but other than that he's been class and is papering over the crack at the moment.

Do you reckon we'll be able to keep him at the club?

Papering Over what crack? He's doing his job and doing it well simple as that. He is paid a lot of money to produce saves often match winning ones. He also has a quality defense in front of him imo which when they are all working in sync works very nicely.

The whole point of buying a better goalkeeper is to ensure that the opposition do not get the lions share of the shots on target into the back of the net.
Dubravka does his job and is what you can call a keeper you can rely on.

But let's not detract from the amazing team work that's done in front of him.
The entire game is about teamwork.

You can argue many teams get away with a lot due to their keeper but it is literally their job and a reason why they're number 1.
It's like having a defensive midfielder breaking up play after play after play and winning the game 1-0 only for that player to be singled out as the reason why we won 1-0.
It's a team effort and all play a part.

A good goalie is the difference between a one nil win and a defeat.Take our last 2 home wins, yesterday and Southampton. He made saves at crucial times in both games,if not we probably would have lost.
I know people say it's his job blah blah blah, but the saves, some of them have been world class.

It's a team effort which includes the keeper. As simple as that.

In that case our attack deserve a rollicking for every game played this season.

It's a team game regardless of who does what.
Every player gets stick if they don't perform.
Every player gets praised if they do.
    It really is that simple.

Of course we will keep him.
Unless another team comes in for him. Fat **** Fraser's will always sell for the right price even if that means weakening the team.
