    Burton Albion Post Match Thoughts

Another day, another away win, another clean sheet. A bit hectic towards the end but 3 more points in the bag and back in the play offs prior to our early season break. Who was that wearing number 6 today? From the culinary comments on the match thread he's definitely our Marmite, loved by most but disliked by a few.

    Thoughts?

Really think we need a defensive coach.
    Wood is past his best.
3 lucky wins out of 4 games including 2 away wins.
Warne clearly only knows how to buy injured players.

    I think that covers everything.

A win is a win. We will play much better this season and lose so I'll take it

Away at Burton....3 points but later stages a mad panic.....

" 2 players free and they mess it up thankfully"

Sounds like more luck than judgement so that needs addressing !

Yes, there’s still a big question mark over how our defence is organised and coached, but hey it’s an away win and a clean sheet. What’s not to like?

Been to the match... Relaxing with a lovely pint of Burton Bridge festival now. Scrappy game, and Iversen saved us early on. He's looking like a great signing. Goal was a deflection at the other end of the pitch, so Millers fans didn't get a great view of it. Vassell ran them ragged and should have scored. Whenever Burton looked like hitting us on the break, Crooks was like a brick wall to them. We looked up for it and battled away for the three points, but it wasn't pretty! We finished strongly though.

Well it looks/sounds like we're creating a hell of a lot of chances, a lot more than in recent seasons, but we're squandering chance after chance. If we can put a few of these chances away we'll cruise through most games and it really wouldn't matter if we conceded one or even two at the other end. As long as we're creating all the chances then I'm happy because there's always a chance that we're going to win games. We've not conceded in the last two games (both away) so we're doing something right, and I know that it's nail biting stuff at times but we can only get better as the season progresses.

We could have easy got more goals and that’s my moan 😉

Wiles starts all day long for me , good lad Ben, tell your mate he’s an idiot though for running on pitch

Still work in progress with formation but I’ll leave it there
Lindsay was fantastic when he came on I thought

    Well played lads
