Nose-bleed territory!
That's the incentive, a win takes us up to 12th. A draw leaves us where we now are, 16th.
Looks wide open at the top. Boreham Wood taking advantage of playing the bottom two this week to go top (those are our next two games after tomorrow) and only three unbeaten sides in the league (Solihull, Bromley and Sutton).
Three sides still without a win, Chesterfield, Chorley and Ebbsfleet.
Eastleigh is now the obvious fixture we should have done better in as they've only picked up 1 point since opening day and are now 20th.
The two home games were against sides currently 8th and 9th.
Nose-bleed territory!
Hopefully, they'll feel a tad less pressure on them with a win under their belts and a home game. It might well be a signiicant three points to gain for the coming months.
It's actually Solihull who are top, Boreham Wood are a borehaming 15th. Out of the top four in the betting at the start of the season (Us, Wrexham, Chesterfield and Fylde), none are currently in the top 10. As you say, these early season tables give any team a good chance to jump up a few places with a couple of wins. If we get at least a point tomorrow, the games against Ebbsfleet and Chorley give us a great opportunity to do just that.
Oh god, I'm still getting some of these names mixed up, they're so interchangable as unknowns. Need to learn the colours and badges which would help, many of them I've no association with anything. Yes, it's Solihull who've just beaten the bottom two.
Aren't Fylde supposed to be the biggest spenders in this league? Yet they've just been thrashed 4-1 at home. There's nobody to fear, if Notts got a run together, I'm sure the momentum and confidence would carry us through a lot of these fixtures without having to play like world beaters.
