No. Almiron was good last year. He was played as a wide forward, basically linking defence and attack. The only thing he needed to add was a few goals. In his role now he HAS to score and assist or the whole system fails. HE IS NOT A STRIKER!

I don't think that Big Baby Bruce has twigged it yet. I like Almiron. But he runs around like a chickenhead and needs a bit more thought to his runs, moves and passes. He full-on style will see him pick up lots of injuries, especially if he doesn't use his pace to stay out of trouble; rather than run into it.

Also Joelinton scores one goal in every four matches so we still have to wait another match or two before he realises where the net is. This is after he gets over his knock. Not convinced by this fella at all so I hope he can do something to convince me that he is not Shola 2.0. Even though Gayle fails at this level, I'd have prefered to have him back instead of our current crop of strikers. Muto is the wildcard here. I can't see that he is very good but he needs to play and come good because I fear by the time we realise our faith in Joelinton is misplaced, it might be too late to try Plan B. Plan C is Carroll and he might as well be Plan Z.

When fit Carroll and Gayle for me I can’t see what these two bring to the table

Put him back where he was playing last season he seemed pretty effective, he isnt a striker and Bruce Forsyth needs to wake up and realise that, Play Joelinton with Muto see what they can do together and when Gayle is back fit he can maybe offer us something.

I think they can work together but as everybody else has mentioned, not in the way that Miggy is currently being played.

Norwich had a plan, put bodies on Miggy and Joelinton. It worked.

Everybody else will see that and go with it. I have no faith that Bruce has a plan B to change it around and use them.
